Lonny Kennett is a lifelong entrepreneur, farmer, and no-nonsense leader with deep roots in Red Deer County. Lonny grew up on the first cattle, buffalo, and grain farms in Central Alberta, where he learned the values of hard work, innovation, and community responsibility from an early age.

His entrepreneurial journey began at a very young age, when he co-founded a mobile crane company with his cousin. Since then, he has built a diverse and accomplished career spanning agriculture, business, aviation, and international oil and gas consulting.

As a commercial pilot turned oilfield consultant, Lonny worked in Trinidad, Mexico, Yemen, Venezuela and Denmark gaining firsthand experience in global operations and problem-solving. His time abroad shaped his pragmatic leadership style, reinforcing his belief in cutting waste, prioritizing efficiency, and making decisions that truly benefit people.
